Our Story

A Place to Call Home

At Fraternity House, Inc., we believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can heal, regain their independence, and live with dignity—no matter their circumstances. Since our founding in 1988, we have been committed to providing compassionate care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, offering a place where they can receive the medical, emotional, and social support they need to rebuild their lives.

Empathy, Care, and Community

Our mission is simple: The Mission of Fraternity House, Inc. is to provide warm and caring homes where vulnerable individuals living with HIV//AIDS can receive comprehensive care and services in order to rebuild their health and return to independent living; or where they can spend their last days in comfort and dignity.

We are driven by a deep commitment to ensure that those who have been marginalized and forgotten receive the care and respect they deserve. We offer a safe haven where residents can heal from the physical, emotional, and social impacts of living with HIV/AIDS.

This home offers a variety of services including, 24-hour care, assistance with daily living, medical support and care coordination, and community engagement. We also operate a growing number of Semi-Independent Living apartments for more independent people living with HIV/AIDS. At Semi-Independent Living residents have access to ongoing case management, and opportunities to build a rental history
